About the wine
Somontano is located at the foot of the Pyrenees at 400 to 600 m above sea level. At the end of the 1980s, the Viñas del Vero winery was founded, which today comprises 1100 hectares of vines and is one of the leaders in the area. French grape varieties are mainly planted, but the wines have retained Spanish character. The wines impress with their cleanliness, elegance and perfect workmanship at moderate prices.

Tasting note
The freshness and fruitiness determine the intense sensory experience from nose to finish. The bouquet reveals aromas reminiscent of apricot, ripe apple, peach, pineapple and mango. Grapefruit, kiwi and lemon can then be seen on the palate. Straightforward, on the fruit and quite long, this fresh white aftertaste lingers.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with amuse bouche, hors d'oeuvre, fish dishes, vegetable plates, pasta, pasta, salty pastries, tapas, niçoise salads, seafood.
