About the wine
Rafael Palacios is a migrant from Rioja in Valdeorras — but no stranger. He regularly demonstrated his talent in his parents' house Palacios Remondo. In 2004, he started his own winery in the northwestern corner of Spain, in the middle of Galicia, in the remote Valle del Bibei. In view of the potential of the autochthonous Godello grape, Rafael was convinced from the outset that he could use it to produce world-class wines.

Tasting note
Lots of freshness, ripe stone fruit and tropical fruits, mint and flint in an aromatic bouquet. Full-bodied and complex on the palate with intense aromas and precision. Super structured with juicy, fresh acidity and a salty minerality on the long finish.
Vinification
Louro do Bolo comes from vines of an average age of 25 years from various plots around the municipality of O Bolo. After harvesting by hand, the grapes are kept in large wooden barrels for about 4 months. With its complexity, this expressive straw-yellow Godello wine easily keeps up with well-known Burgundians or Rieslings.
