About the wine
An elegant and complex red wine from Tuscany that shows aromas of dark berries, spices and fine wood tones. With its powerful structure and velvety tannins, it offers both depth and balance.

Tasting note
Elegant and harmonious wine that opens in the glass and presents itself in a particularly complex way. Fruity, floral and spicy notes on the nose; ripe and complex aromas of forest fruits, blackcurrant and Mediterranean spices. A nice range of soft tannins, sweet fruit and an excellent long finish. A very balanced, elegant wine with enormous aging potential. Lodovico once again confirms what the terroir of Tenuta di Biserno can produce.

Vinification
Lodovico comes from a single vineyard, from which only the very best grapes are used. After careful reading and meticulous selection of the harvested material, they are destemmed and squeezed. The fermentation takes place in barriques and in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 18 to 21 months in new French barriques. The wine then matures in the bottle for a further twelve months.
