Tasting note
The bouquet is characterized by the fine aroma of black cherries, plums, leather, licorice and a touch of anise. On the palate, Trossos del Priorat Lo Món D.O.C. is a soft, velvety wine with stimulating spice and fine wood notes. A crisp acidity, intense minerality and finely honed tannins characterize this wine on the palate. The plump aroma, juiciness and fruit are inspiring!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game dishes, dark poultry, meat dishes with dark sauce, ripe hard cheese.
Vinification
Lo Mon 2008 is a cuvee made from Garnacha, Carinyena, percent Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes. The Trossos del Priorat Lo Món D.O.C. matures for 12 months in French oak and American oak barriques.
