Tasting note
This typical South Tyrolean Lagrein Riserva is dark ruby red in color and with a delicate aroma of wild fruits and cherries. Fine-grained, ripe tannins accompany its beautiful acidity and give this wine elegance and persistence. Long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled temperature of 15°-17°C. Flaschenpöstler tip: Perfect with Riz Casimir and seafood.
Vinification
Mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by biological acid degradation and 12-month aging in small oak barrels (barrique), aged in the bottle for another year after a further 6 months in large wooden barrels.
