About the wine
An elegant Ticino Merlot with aromas of ripe plums, dark berries and fine vanilla. Soft, full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, with silky tannins and a long, balanced finish. Aged in barriques for 18 months — a wine with depth, elegance and typical Ticino charm.

Tasting note
The wine has an intense red color with bright reflections in the glass. The bouquet is characterized by notes of plum, dark and red berries, with fine aromas of vanilla, leather and spices. On the palate, it shows all the typical characteristics of Merlot: full-bodied, juicy, with distinctive but very elegant tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, game, mushrooms, risotto
Vinification
Careful sorting of grapes. The must is fermented in 50-hectoliter wooden barrels. The wine is then aged in new barriques for around 18 months.
