About the wine
On her first visit to Benguela Cove, Penny Streeter was so impressed by the majestic mountains and breathtaking ocean views that she decided to embark on the adventure of having her own winery. The Moody Lagoon Red Blend pays homage to the Bot River lagoon that borders the estate and reflects the diversity of grape varieties that thrive on the estate.

Tasting note
Dark garnet ruby. A delicate bouquet of red and blue berries, with notes of fresh morel juice, raspberries and asters, accompanied by nuances of black pepper, cranberry puree and rosewood. On the palate, the wine is elegant with a soft texture, ripe extract, well-integrated freshness and medium body. The aromatic finish is characterized by red cherries, graphite notes and delicate astringency.

Goes well with starters, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry, steak options, grilled meats, semi-hard and hard cheeses.
