Tasting note
The grapes for this Blanc de Blancs come from a cooler northern location in the Montagne de Reims (Tauxières). Aged partly in enamelled tanks, partly in barriques. Showing fresh, clear nose image, with typical Chardonnay aromas of yellow fruits, nashi pears and citrus notes, underpinned by mineral iodine and chalk tones. Crunchy start to the palate, with fine perlage and subtle saltiness on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
With its freshness, it is ideal for an aperitif as well as a great accompaniment to sushi and sashimi, oysters or smoked fish. But also with various cream cheeses.
