About the wine
Alvaro Palacios comes from the Palacios Remondo wine-growing dynasty operating in Rioja. He learned the secrets of the great Bordeaux wines from Christian Moueix in Bordeaux, the “father” of Pomerol wines from Château Pétrus and Château Trotanoy, and brought his knowledge to the new Priorat region.

Tasting note
With Les Terrasses, Álvaro Palacios brings the priory of yesteryear into the glass, its history, customs and traditions. The wine comes from around 80 plots in various villages planted with old Garnacha and Cariñena vines. Around 1% are white grapes, which are typically found in these vineyards. With the scent and aromas of dark fruits and berries, warm slate and Mediterranean herbs, it takes us to this secluded world.
Culinary recommendation
