Tasting note
Pure meunier from a single vineyard in Festigny. Spicy fruity nose with aromas of black cherries, wild berries, plums, orange peel and subtle bergamot, plus notes of birnel, pumpernickel, dark marzipan and finely bitter cocoa chips. Crunchy taste, again spicy-fresh, with a nice touch and length.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with smoked trout on toast or avocado eel roll, pumpkin soup, fried or grilled fish, but also with Bündner pear ravioli with mountain cheese.
