About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Les Aureliens Rouge VdP du Var! Picturesque and blooming landscapes of Provence give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the French winery Domaine de Triennes conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
The result is a robust red wine with strong aromas of red fruits, plums, Provençal herbs, some pepper and light toast aromas. A wonderful food companion with southern charm and lots of race.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Provençal cuisine, game dishes, stews, pot roasts, veal and beef, barbecues.
Vinification
After a slow fermentation of 25-35 days with natural yeasts, the wine is aged for about 12 months in old burgundy oak barrels, in which the cult wines of Domaine Dujac used to lie dormant. The two types of grapes are then blended and bottled unfiltered before they are further stored in the bottle.
