Tasting note
With a shiny yellow color in the glass, Weissburgunder LEOPOLDINE delights with aromas of ripe apples, apricots and a touch of lemon, underpinned by fine honey notes. On the palate, it is elegant, soft and at the same time lively with clear, crisp acidity and distinctive minerality. The long, persistent finish rounds off the harmonious overall picture of this characterful white wine.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes from old vineyards. Gentle pressing and sedimentation Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks (80%) and French tonneaux (20%). 12 months aging on fine yeast, aged in the bottle for at least 6 months.
