About the wine
For Valentine's Day, we recommend the distinctive Sauvignon Blanc 2020 — Leone Blend – Terre Siciliane IGT Tenuta Regaleali. Blooming and fertile landscapes in Sicily give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tasca d'Almerita conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Sauvignon Blanc with goat cheese or fish.

Tasting note
Intense straw yellow with greenish reflections. Spicy and fruity on the nose: notes of ripe, yellow apples, white peaches, pineapple and pink grapefruit. Wonderfully fresh and juicy on the palate. Full, almost creamy texture, which is perfectly balanced with acidity. The aromas of the nose are repeated. A wonderfully spicy food companion with a nice length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti, fish with capers, as well as poultry.
Vinification
The vineyards are located between 500 and 900 m above sea level. The grape varieties for this wine are harvested and pressed separately, and the must is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 14 to 16° C. It is then assembled and aged in steel tanks.
