About the wine
Between sea and mountains, on the route that connects Perpignan to the Mediterranean coast, Domaine Lafage is based in a country house made of old stones from the 15th century. After six generations of winemakers, Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage, both oenologists, now run the estate. They combine their experience with international technologies with traditional know-how and are supported by a team of 12 highly qualified and motivated employees.

Tasting note
A powerful, long-lasting black-red wine with a strong, complex bouquet primarily of dried plum, complemented by toast and caramel notes and some herbal aspects. It has a slight initial sweetness and juicy tannins and is fresh and harmonious on the palate. The dominant fruit is complemented by some cocoa and chocolate notes and rounded off with a long finish.
