About the wine
Since its founding in the early eighties, Cantina Santa Barbara has set itself one main goal: to revive the local grape varieties of the brands, such as Verdicchio and Montepulicano. The 25 hectares owned by Stefano Antonucci and the 15 leased hectares, with vines aged between three and thirty years, grow in Arcevia, Montecarotto, Serra de' Conti and Barbara, around 200 meters above sea level.

Tasting note
A superlative verdicchio with a structure reminiscent of red wines. Aromas of ripe apricots and oranges with exotic spices. Powerful, almost opulent. White wine that can be stored.
Culinary recommendation
Fish dishes with strong sauces or even a scrape with rosemary
Vinification
Half of the grapes are harvested later and aged in wood for a few months, the other half is vinified in steel tanks.
