Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red. The bouquet is elegant and intense, with aromas of plums, red cherries, violets and balsamic notes. On the palate, the wine is mineral. The tannins are ripe and silky.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Ticino specialities such as salsiccia, risotto ai funghi or braised rabbit.
Vinification
After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in cement containers for around 15 days. Biological acid degradation takes place at the same time. The wine is then refined in French oak barriques for 12 months.
