Tasting note
The first thing you notice about this Sassella from the individual Le Tense series is the excellent overall impression. With a velvety smooth structure and with a thick dress of round tannins, this Sassella also has deep fruit notes (plum, raspberries) and hints of almond and tar, which beguile the nose and palate. The subtle aroma ends harmoniously with a long and firm finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta, cheese platters, mashed potatoes and rabbit stew.
Vinification
For a short time in stainless steel tanks and then part is aged in traditional, large oak barrels (Slovenian oak) and part in barrique (French and American oak)
