Tasting note
Deep ruby red with intense aromas of blackcurrants, cherries and subtle notes of truffle, leather and cedarwood. On the palate, it is velvety and elegant, with fine tannins and excellent balance. The aftertaste is long and complex, with lingering nuances of dark fruits and spices.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with filet mignon, veal dishes, game and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in small stainless steel tanks. The aging takes place in new French oak barrels for 18-20 months, which gives the wine its characteristic elegance and depth.
