Treat yourself to the senses with the first-class Le Merle de Chateau Peby Faugeres AC from 2012! The gravelly soils north and east of Gironde and Dordogne form the breeding ground. The winemaker from the French winery Château Péby Faugères knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine.

Tasting note
The 2022 Le Merle de Péby Faugères has a deep garnet-purple color and impresses with energetic notes of blackcurrant jelly, black raspberries and fresh black plums, followed by a touch of menthol and star anise. Full-bodied, powerful and lively, the palate impresses with black fruit jam and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, barbecues, tapas
Vinification
After harvesting by hand and fermentation at cool temperatures, it is aged in barriques for approx. 14 months (45% new, 45% one-year-old, 10% biennial).
