Tasting note
Dark ruby red. On the nose, notes of black cherries and peaches. Profound, mystolic spicy flavors. Full but also cheerful on the palate, no hint of jam. The 70-100 year old vines like how carefully Xavier cares for them. In any case, they thanked them with excellent fruits even in the difficult year 2017: The extremely low yields of 15hl/ha were fermented for three weeks and then aged in oak for 6 months and bottled without filtration.
