Tasting note
Le Marze has a very intense red color, a tone that goes almost down to black, with a sweet scent reminiscent of ripe fruit and a hint of cocoa and licorice that opens slowly. On the palate, it has a good tannin concentration, which does not give the wine any harshness but only makes it fuller, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with grilled meat, game dishes or aged cheeses such as pecorino or parmigiano reggiano.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately. After fermentation, the wine is aged in barriques for 12 months.
