Tasting note
Intense, dense ruby red. Concentrated, tempting, dark-berry bouquet, pepper, dark chocolate, spices. Very complex range of aromas. Powerful, very dense aftertaste, round on the palate. Tannins are in harmony with gentle acids which leave a lasting and delightful aftertaste. The Galic Le Clos 9 is the result of the careful selection of the 9 best barriques from a total of 99 barrels, in which the best Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc wines aged.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dishes such as roast beef, veal, game, grilled and roast lamb.
Vinification
After harvesting and selection by hand, the grapes are vinified. The subsequent aging takes place for 18 months in 100% new French barriques. Clos 9 is the result of the careful selection of the 9 best barriques from a total of 99 barrels, in which the best Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc wines matured.
