Tasting note
Well-covered cherry red with violet notes. Complex and elegant yet powerful, with aromas of ripe fruit, spices and chocolate. The variety of aromas from primary and tertiary aromas is excellent. Spicy and balanced, with high concentration and richness. Complex aromas in retronasal.
Vinification
After selective manual harvesting, the temperature-controlled fermentation takes place at 28°C. The wine is then aged for 14 months in new barriques (80% French, 20% American) and in the bottle for a further 18 months.
