About the wine
Castello del Trebbio is just 15 km from Florence and has 54 hectares of vineyards. The current owners, the Baj Macario family, bought and renovated the castle in 1968. Anna Baj Macario, the owner of the castle, takes care of olive oil production and her husband, Stefano Casadei, takes care of the wine production.

Tasting note
Clear ruby red Aromas of red and black fruits, such as blueberries and cranberries. Very harmonious and elegant on the palate. Long, smooth finish
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, probably the most famous Tuscan meat dish. On to pappardelle alla lepre, egg ribbon noodles with rabbit ragout.
