About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Merayo is absolutely proficient in his craft. Tasting note
Cherry red color with shades of purple. The fruit is provided by aromas of blackberries and plums, while the floral is provided by a touch of violet. Pepper and leather can also be seen. Pressed from the local Mencía variety, this long-lasting cru is also spicy on the palate and contains mainly black berries. An elegant and complex wine.

Goes well with stew, vegetable and rice dishes
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks, followed by 9-month aging on fine yeast in French and American barriques. Filling without a previous clarification process.
