About the wine
This distinctive Merlot 2011 — Langhe Rosso crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Blooming and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cascina Morassino conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.

A fruity red wine with a strong body and distinctive acidity, which develops its individual structure harmoniously with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for slightly spicy red meat, poultry and duck. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 3-8 years after harvest.
Vinification
Information on vinification: The grapes are carefully picked by hand and sorted out again in the winery. The mash fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approx. 8 days. After fermentation, the wine is stored in used barriques for around 20 months and matures in the bottle for another 4 months before being sold.
