About the wine
Gabriele Scaglione describes itself as spirito indipendent as a free spirit who follows his passion and love for excellent wines. Thanks to strict selection and extensive maintenance in the vineyards, he produces typical terroir wines in Piedmont in small but fine production.

Tasting note
Ruby red, scent of ripe red and dark berries, plums and slight spiciness. Full-bodied on the palate with ripe tannins and balanced acidity, which are very harmonious. The persistent aftertaste is characterized by berry aromas and also features ground pepper.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Langhe Rosso DOC passt hervorragend zu Rindfleisch, Burrata und Prosciutto.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed mechanically. The wine is then stirred from bottom to top at least twice a day under temperature control. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 24 months.
