About the wine
The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Rizzi is fresh, lively, and super easy to enjoy. With its smooth texture and bright, fruity character, it’s a great choice for relaxed dinners or casual catch-ups with friends.
Tasting note
On the nose, aromas of ripe strawberries, cherries, rose petals and dried blood orange develop. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and dry, with juicy freshness and fine-grained tannins. Notes of red cherries, raspberries, leather, tobacco, black pepper and cinnamon result in a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with dishes such as tajarin with truffles, ossobuco, aged hard cheese or mushroom risotto.
Vinification
The grapes picked by hand are fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
