Tasting note
This Nebbiolo shines in a bright ruby red. The nose is dominated by scented aromas of blackberries, raspberries, rose petals, blood orange, some tar and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is soft and juicy with lots of red fruit, southern spicy notes, very fine tannins and an invigorating acidity. The aftertaste is long-lasting and extremely elegant. A very accessible and balanced Nebbiolo that you could easily confuse with a good Barolo

Vinification
The Lange Nebbiolo from Lapo Berti comes from various locations around La Morra. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented spontaneously, partly in steel tanks and partly in large wooden barrels. The wine is then aged for 14 months in barriques (second use). The wine is bottled unfiltered and unembellished.
