About the wine
Castiglione Falletto is a small village in the middle of the best wine-growing areas in the Langhe. The Vietti family winery is located right next to Castiglione Castle. Luca Currado and Mario Cordero have expanded their cellar and brought it up to date with the latest technology. Luca, the graduate oenologist, gained experience at well-known wineries such as Mouton-Rothschild and Opus One. In addition to the classic wines Barbaresco, Barbera d`Alba, Barbera d`Asti, Moscato d`Asti and Arneis, the Barolo vineyards Rocche, Brunate, Lazzarito and Villero are grown with great success.

Tasting note
Subtle and subdued on the nose at first, with a few swivels, the fine bouquet with violets and spices opens, on the palate a powerful body with beautiful melting and beguiling elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Strong, dark meat dishes from beef, lamb, deer, also with mushroom dishes and truffles.
Vinification
10 months barrel, 16 months steel.
