Tasting note
Ruby red color with bright garnet reflections. In the strong bouquet, the lamo appears voluminous and spicy with notes of barrique aging. The wine appears complex and the fruit is wonderfully integrated. Strong start on the palate, present structure but soft on the palate and with a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Lamo Toscana IGT goes well with pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burgers.
Vinification
Long mash fermentation with constant rinsing of the mash, controlled fermentation temperature up to max. 33°C. Ageing in French barriques (2nd use) for 12 months, then aged in bottles for at least 4 months.
