About the wine
The 2018 Lalomba Finca Ladero from Ramon Bilbao blends Tempranillo and Garnacha into a fresh, structured red with a juicy yet elegant feel. Tasting note
Garnet red with purple reflections. Leather and toasted notes on the nose. Rich and soft on the palate with aromas of strawberries, blackberries and wild herbs. Ripe, fine, ripe tannins, well-integrated acidity and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with a festive meal such as beef fillet with fried potatoes or monkfish on lentils.
Vinification
The wine was aged for 16 months in used 225l barriques and a further 22 months in concrete tanks. High-altitude area with continental climate and Atlantic influence. With its spectacular wine cellar, the Lalomba Winery is a real eye-catcher. The single location of Finca Ladera Monte Yegra is only 6 ha in size.
