Tasting note
Château de Chambrun is a classic, beguiling libournais. Here on the plateau of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation with its sandy, gravelly surface and clayey subsoils and just a stone's throw away from the Pomerol icons Pétrus (as the crow flies 900 meters) and Château Lafleur, the Merlot grape variety shows its great potential. Merlot also determines the blend, supplemented with a little Cabernet Franc and, depending on the vintage, with a little Cabernet Sauvignon. No wonder Château de Chambrun shows complexity, excitement and depth. Also recommended for storage!

Goes well with hard cheese, mushroom & mushroom dishes, red meat, soft cheese.
