Tasting note
The color of this wine is deep purple with subtle terracotta accents. On the nose, it is mature, concentrated, dense and extremely complex. Outstanding aromas include ripe red fruits such as sour cherries, blackberries and cherries, accompanied by spicy notes such as cloves, cinnamon and black pepper. A touch of herbs and cedarwood completes the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft and silky, with balanced tannin and lively acidity - a harmonious combination of maturity and freshness. The taste underlines the aromas and enhances them even further. The aftertaste is elegant, powerful, complex and long-lasting.
Vinification
Solera system. Consecutive volumes of the mega Önos wines mature together in a 1000 liter fuder. In 2001 This keg was made for the first time with the Megas Oenos vintage Filled in 1999. Since then, every year after the new year of Megas Oenos is ready for marketing, a special quantity Wine removed from the barrel, and the fuder with the new Megas Öno's vintage refilled. This blend then ripens in Fuder until the next year of Megas Oenos the new Barrels — after 18 months of aging — are removed. After When bottled, the Labyrinth matures for another 12 months in Cellar of our winery before it goes on the market.
