About the wine
La Toledana is a castle that was built in the first half of the 16th century as a fortress and defensive structure. Built as a fortress and defensive structure and later converted into a winery owned by the Martini family. Cortese grapes have been used to make Gavi wines for over 180 years. La Toledana has 26 hectares of vineyards with Cortese grapes.

Tasting note
Bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections, a tasty and delicate scent with hints of fresh fruit and white flowers as well as citrus and bitter almond notes; has a dry, full-bodied, pleasantly spicy, harmonious and sophisticated finish.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif drink or as an accompaniment to fish dishes, starters with light sauces and white meat.
Vinification
Aging in steel tanks for 6 months and bottling only takes place in spring/summer.
