About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Allegrini has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and enchanting landscape in Veneto. Tasting note
Wine with a balanced body, intense and elegant, with a strong ruby red color. Complex aromas of wild berries, juniper, tobacco and coffee beans characterize the bouquet, which opens up in a very complex way. Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Syrah and Sangiovese come from the homonymous vineyard, which is located in one of the most important locations in classic Valpolicella. The high growing density and the correspondingly low yield give this wine its characteristic concentration.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, lamb and tick-roast meat and dark sauces. It tastes great with boiled or grilled mushrooms and medium-ripe, mild cheeses.
Vinification
Aging in barriques for 16 months.
