Tasting note
The grapes for this single-varietal Meunier rosé come from the “Les Bouts de la Ville” single vineyard. The grapes were macerated for a full 168 hours for this rich color and extract rosé de maceration. On the nose, it also shows a nice vinosity, with aromas of cherries, wild berries, some plum and candied blood oranges, mineral-spicy with notes of dried herbs, crushed mussel shells, roasted almonds and a touch of cinnamon. Showing nice freshness on the palate, yet winey, with good freshness and great length.
Culinary recommendation
A rosé champagne that is ideal as an accompaniment, both for fish and crustaceans, e.g. grilled, with spicy mushroom dishes and even with steaks and stews.
