About the wine
Kellerei Kurtatsch is located on the South Tyrolean Wine Route, 30 minutes south of Bolzano. The main source of income of the inhabitants of Kurtatsch is wine and fruit growing. This wine-growing community is unique in South Tyrol, the vineyards are located at 220 to 900 m above sea level. In the vineyards, there has always been a close relationship between farmer and vine, which is reinforced by the small structure of Kellerei Kurtatsch. Excellent wines are produced in the vineyard. The finishing touches are given to single people in the cellar.

Tasting note
Pleasant cherry and wild berry fruit on the nose. Powerful, with well-structured tannins and aromas of violets, black berries and finely spicy laurel — typical of the grape variety — flattering and delicately lingering in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dark meats, game fowl, hard cheeses.

Temperature-controlled mash fermentation in stainless steel, acid degradation and aging in large wooden barrels
