About the wine

Kraljevina Crevna means something like “red kingdom”, but in fact this is a type of white wine. Depending on their orientation to the sun, the grape skins can take on a delicate rosé tint, which may have led to this name. The Kraljevina comes from the Zagreb area in Croatia, where it is still widely used today. The variety sprouts late and also ripens late. Since the berries are relatively large and thin-skinned, the variety is susceptible to putrefactive diseases such as black or sour rot, and even more so when yields are driven up. In Croatia, the Kraljevina is usually made as a single variety and brings a fairly neutral but fresh wine to the glass for easy wine enjoyment.
