Tasting note
Color: Rich ruby red with medium purple reflections and a black core. Aromatics: Intense, compote-like notes of cherries and cassis, fine roasted aromas of coffee and vanilla, earthy in the finish with a hint of undergrowth. Body: Long, soft drink, well-integrated acidity, strong well-structured body, present palate, a fine vegetal note typical of the variety, velvety mouthfeel, long harmonious finish. Quality: Full, enveloping taste — a wine experience. Carafing is worthwhile to develop the aromas.
