The monastic vineyards of Fahr Abbey lie in the middle of the Limmat Valley, just outside the city of Zurich and with a view of Lake Zurich. The Dominican monastery Fahr was founded back in the 11th century and is still part of the Kloster Einsiedeln today. Under the name Kloster Fahr AOC Zürich, 5 wines from the Limmat Valley are cultivated and cultivated on 4.2 hectares. Since 2020, the Limmattal grapes have been processed into outstanding white, rosé and red wines in the baroque cellar vault of Kloster Einsiedeln under the direction of Dominc Mathies.
