About the wine
They are one of the first winemaking families in the province, and their wine history began many generations ago. Your wine grows on porphyry, the typical soil of the region. This rock, the red stone, gave the family their name. Today, Hannes and Judith run the winery together, supported by other family members. The KITZ line comprises the estate's only two cuvée wines and is subtitled WINES FOR FRIENDS. Two modern wines that are uncomplicated, versatile and fresh.

Tasting note
This red cuvée is mainly composed of the two autochthonous grape varieties Vernatsch and Lagrein, with a touch of Merlot. The freshness and fruitiness of Vernatsch is combined with the strength and complexity of Lagrein and is rounded off by the richness and sweetness of Merlot.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif or with simple dishes such as pasta, antipasti or grilled vegetables.
Vinification
The wine ages in steel tanks to underline the fruity notes and its freshness.
