Tasting note
On the nose, scented red berries and light oak wood nuances with sweet spices and dried herbs. Dark cherries and sweet spices from the grenache vine stand out in addition to full-bodied plum and chocolate notes from Shiraz. Seamlessly interwoven with cured meat and dried herbs from Mataro, which are further enhanced by firm tannins and subtle nuances of French oak.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rich flavors such as grilled red meat, fried chicken or cold cuts. Also delicious with marinated Asian dishes.
Vinification
Each individual plot was vinified separately and remained so until the final wine was put together. Ageing in a selection of aged French oak barrels for fifteen months gives the silky palate softness and elegance.
