About the wine
Bodegas Bhilar is a boutique winery in Elvillar, Rioja Alavesa, managed by David Sampedro and Melanie Hickman. Their goal is to make terroir wines with soul, respect the land, work only with local grapes and share their unique wines with good people with positive energy.

Tasting note
The color is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose shows a | floral intensity interspersed with honey notes, followed by a full | palate, very fresh yet with a touch of sweetness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with sea fish, white meat, hard cheese and paella.
Vinification
Hand harvest, after pressing, fermentation is carried out with natural yeasts in terracotta amphorae. The wine is aged in the same amphora for a year, and the fine yeast is stirred up during the winter months.
