Tasting note
The color is a rich cherry red with ruby red reflections. The complex bouquet combines aromas of dried fruit and dark berries with notes of vanilla and cocoa. Extremely rich in extracts on the palate, with pleasant fruit sweetness and fresh acidity, on rich tannins. The long and powerful aftertaste gives the wine an aristocratic character.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended with hard cheese, beef and pasta.
Vinification
Before actual fermentation, the grapes are macerated by carbonic acid. Fermentation then takes place in large steel tanks, with mash contact lasting 15-20 days. The wine finally matures in French barriques for two years.
