Classified as a major location by the Association of German Prädikatsweingüter, it belongs to the top league of German vineyards. This Riesling from the Ruwer is as fresh as spring water! Quite appropriate, because in the past, Karthäuserhof wines were chilled in Eitelsbach, a tributary of the Ruwer. This explains the bottle's neck banding instead of the classic label. On the nose, this clear, lively white shows a bouquet of yellow stone fruit, citrus fruits and green apples. On the palate, it combines finesse with intensity, is rich and juicy with a distinctive mineral vein. The wine comes from the legendary Karthäuserhof berg vineyard, which was already mentioned in writing in 1223.
