About the wine
The K + K Kirnbauer winery was founded in 1975 and has around 40 hectares of vineyards. Many know Kirnbauer for the legendary “Phantom” - with this wine, the family business wrote Austrian winegrowing history in 1987: It was the beginning of cuvée culture.

Tasting note
This cuvée is aged in large oak barrels (Slavonian oak) and has a bright ruby red with purple shimmer, fruity-mineral nose, cherry scented, blackberries on the palate, soft and chubby on the finish. Combines the warmth of Zweigelt with the spice of blue beverage drinking fun!

Goes well with cheese and meat platters, light barbecues, lamb and meat stews
