About the wine
Henschke is one of Australia's oldest wineries and looks back on more than 150 years of history. Cyril Henschke, who runs the winery in the fourth generation, has built up a first-class reputation for Rieslings from the Eden Valley since 1961. This region offers ideal conditions for the maturation of Riesling and has an outstanding track record with exceptional aging potential.

Tasting note
Bright yellow. Honey-like fruit bouquet with quince, pears and mirabelles. Delicate palate with lush river, sweet yellow fruit again and fine acacia honey notes, a pleasant balance between citrus freshness and white pepper.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, cold meat platters, mild fish or vegetable terrines, vegetarian cuisine, steamed freshwater fish, light, Far Eastern dishes, chicken and hot cheese dishes, and fresh and hard cheeses.
