Tasting note
The Juan Gil brandy smells of dark fruits, vanilla and fine roasted aromas, accompanied by a touch of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is soft yet expressive, with notes of caramel, dried orange and delicate spice. The finale remains long, clear and elegant.
Vinification
This brandy is made from organically grown Monastrell grapes. The fermented must is distilled in Charentais copper alambic, so that the aromatic purity of the grapes is retained. It then matures first in American oak, then in French oak using the Solera system. Without added sugar or dyes, Brandy Juan Gil shows an authentic, elegant style that clearly stands out from classic Spanish brandies and is reminiscent of the precision of large cognac distillates.
