About the wine
Ribera del Duero has been growing wine since ancient times. For example, a 2,500-year-old drinking cup with traces of wine was found at the Pintia excavation site. However, modern viticulture only began with the arrival of the Benedictines from Cluny in Burguny.

Tasting note
Opaque purple in the glass. On the nose, black berries, aromatic herbs, subtle precious wood and coffee as well as tobacco. A lot of freshness on the palate, an elegant texture and harmonious acid and tannin structure, which is excellently woven into the fruit. Extraordinary length with a full-bodied, intense finish.

Vinification
Tempranillo, by far the most important grape variety, is also known as Tinto Fino or Tinta del País in the region. Vinified in steel tanks, then aged in new French barriques for 16 months.
